Concrete Restoration Calgary

Are You Looking For Concrete Restoration in Calgary?

What does concrete restoration in Calgary look like?

Typically concrete restoration comes about when the concrete itself begins to deteriorate, usually to the point of being unsafe, or just unsightly.  Most people can handle a crack or two, but when the concrete begins to be a trip hazard or fall hazard it is time to fix it up.

The other type of concrete restoration is about aesthetics and usually involves fixing broken concrete or reshaping and recolouring pieces of concrete.

Concrete Lifting and Leveling

If your concrete pad or sidewalk has settled it may not be safe, or function the way it was intended.  They can even become trip hazards.  You may have left it because you were worried about the cost of replacement.  Well, there is good news, concrete driveways, garages, pads and sidewalks can all be fixed.

Complete removal and replacement is an option of course and we and definitely help with that.

We can also use polyurethane foam which is environmentally friendly and can fill holes and fix cracks.

Concrete Fixing and Repair

Sometimes your driveway, garage pad or other concrete will be missing huge chunks, or layers of concrete, especially after winter.  If you are in need of a concrete specialist let us know.

  1.  Mudjacking – Mudjacking is also referred to as slab jacking.  It is a common method for repairing a sinking driveway.  It is very effective and is a good long-term solution.  In order for this to work, we need to fill the cavity below the concrete that it is sinking into.  So we drill holes into the concrete and then fill it up.  This can help not only lift the sinking concrete but also stabilize it for many years to come.
  2. Polyurethane Injections – These are very common in the concrete industry.  When repairing a sinking driveway it is a very similar process.  You drill holes in the concrete and inject the foam.  It is a little more reliable however because the foam expands after injection allowing for it to fill the cavity.  You can really control the amount of lift.
  3. Replacement.  As mentioned above we are a full-service excavation and demolition company and we can handle removing your old broken concrete and then replace it with an amazing new look.
